Are you a “Late Bloomer Mom”?
Hello there, and welcome to my site! So…..what is a “late bloomer,” exactly? Well, in terms of this blog, it’s anyone who became a first-time (or “first-time again”) mom when they were in their late 30s and beyond.
I became a first-time mom to a beautiful boy just days before my 39th birthday – after I was told by several doctors that we would probably need “help” in order to have a child. This has pretty much been the story of my life – I feel like I’ve been late on the scene in many aspects – dating, marriage, and then having a baby – but it’s all good, I know it had to be in God’s time, and not just mine.
So if you can relate, and would like to connect and share your challenges and joys of mommyhood, while balancing career and life in general (and reminisce on how things were “back in the day” – like passing notes in class as opposed to all the texting we do now), I think this is your place!
What we’ll chat about:
• Being an “older” mom
• Juggling mommyhood and career
• Stress management
• Time management
• Products or services that can help us on-the-go moms
• Memories of our childhood (I’ll probably reference something from the ‘80s here and there!)
• Funny stuff
• Serious stuff
• How much we LOVE our kid(s)!
